Hotel Lyon is the first incursion of
Joaquin Hannig and his wife Margaret in Tourism. When
their children left to, with a lot of enthusiasm they
remodeled their home to share it with foreign and
national travelers. This was 28 years ago. The
inauguration was September 16th, on the anniversary of
their marriage.

They
began to host a lot of people from all over the world, ensuring
a happy life with lots of visitors and amusing programs.
Whenever they could, they maintained contact with their,
visitors and, if they traveled to their countries, they always
brought them a Chilean Pisco Sour. It was a time full of trips
and adventures for them.
Today
Hotel Lyon is a three star hotel that prides in maintaining
Don Joaquín's vision: to assist, to listen and to solve the
problems of their visitors, and if necessary, accompany them
in their personal errands.
Hotel Lyon
has spacious and comfortable rooms. It is located in
Providencia, a residential area of Chile’s capital city,
Santiago, near the “Metro” (subway) but far from the
typical noises of a big city like this.

The Avenue Ricardo Lyon is considered
one of the most beautiful streets in Santiago, with its
leafy Oriental Bananas trees that shade the walker
on sunny days. Old last century mansions with ample
gardens, flowers and centennial trees bring back memories
of the city of the past, visions that cannot be found in
any other places in the city of Santiago. |
